Offline mode question

Dear all,

The offline mode is just to listen music in the places without connection or you can use this mode not to consum the limited data plan?
Meaning that, if I use an offline list with my iphone and the activated internet access, will I expend my internet connection?

Offiline playlists can be used for both of the purposes you mentioned.

The offline functionality is primarily there for instances where an internet connection may not be available. In addition, by having the tracks sync'd to your device, you won't need to stream the track on a per-play basis, conserving data.
