Offline synced on more then 3 devices message?!

Solved!

Offline synced on more then 3 devices message?!

I often get a message on my iPhone from spotify that I have offline playlists synced on more then 3 devices, and I have an option if I want to save my offline playlists on my telefone the message says that I just should quit and restarts spotify.
BUT NOW TO THE PROBLEM!!: I follow the message and quit spotify with hope that all my offlinemusic will still be there, BUT NO..!! And the other thing is that i DO NOT have synced playlists on 3 devices!!!! ONLY on my iphone!! When I restart spotify all music that I have synced are gone!!!?? WHY?! This is so annoying, and I am a paying coustomer so this makes me so angry!! Why pay if the program, by itself deletes my synced stuff...please help? What to do when even not the steps that I follow do not do as it says..?!

Another update to the app. Over the next few days can anyone who's still paying post if the fix works please. Although I'm no longer paying I may well again if the issues are fixed.

How do I go about removing Spotify from all devices?

Someone from Spotify support would have to clear your device list.

I still have a paid subscription. It hasn't given me the error since I updated it yesterday, but it's too early to say if it's fixed it from happening again.

Yet again I was duped into downloading a Spotify app thinking that it would be ok or fixed. Same issues as the iphone version. I am done with Spotify. Who needs all these constant problems?

Hi guys. Update: I've been tweeting with Rorey (Spotify Community Manager) and according to him a new update with a specific fix for this issue we are experiencing would be released soon. As you know this has been said before - I'm just relaying what he said to me on Twitter, again. I tweeted back that it's been 2 months that I've been experiencing these problems, that I'm still with Spotify but that a fix is really needed and he replied to me today that he hears me 'loud and clear' meaning that he sees the urgency of getting this fix out there and that Spotify is on it.

Reason why I got back in touch with Rorey was because after my last contact with him (I posted before saying Rorey tweeted an update was pending) I got the message twice, in as many days. Both times when accessing the wi-fi network of my local
Starbucks. So it seems that even AFTER receiving the message once when Spotify thinks a new network (Starbucks) is a separate device and quitting and signig in again cause that's what the message instructs you to do.. going back on the exact same wi-fi network the next day will trigger the message. I wanted to get some coffee today at the same Starbucks, accessed the wi-fi network, wanted to sync some songs and upon logging in... I got the message. I've literally haven't been able to properly use Spotify for weeks. I miss the music. This sucks and makes the entire point of having the app and going Premium futile.

Finger's crossed. Any updates, I'll let you all know.

Argh! I just happened to me again. Only a week after I had finally managed to get everything synced post the "Extreme Quality" iphone sync debacle.

Can someone tell me how I can convince spotify I only have 2 devices that use offline?

(And Why don't they let you see this information anyway - then we could choose which "device" the data gets deleted from, rather than just assuming it's the one we're using right now. Surely a better option if you were to blow one device off the list should be the least recently used one. Not the one that has several GB currently synced and was listened to only an hour before.....)

Frustrated.

Good thing there is more than one music service for the ipad.

My subscription expired today. Smiley Sad I deleted the app and I'm going to return to using Slacker Radio for my jogging.  It might be a workable solution for some of the others here who really rely on caching.  I just don't have enough data in my plan to cache when no wifi is available.

Mine needs resetting too then.

i need reset too...pls...

I didn't have the patience for MOG, Slacker or Rhapsody, so I joined Spotify again.  In fact, I accidentally was billed twice.

I'm going to just use offline mode until this is solved, but I will remember this, Spotify.

As soon as sombody better looking comes along, I'm SOout of this relationship  Smiley Happy

Reset mine as well please

HI cerberus904- I've just reset yours too.

Please do a clean reinstallation of the Spotify app on all of your devices before syncing your offline playlists again. Let us know if you receive that 3 devices message again--thanks!

I have the same problem, except that I indeed synchronized to more than 3 devides. Some devices crashed and now I cant synchronise anymore. Would it be possible to reset my account, or even better, make the devicelist available in my account so I can choose whitch is not alive anymore? Thanks!
