Today I had the problem of not being able to get into my account because it was connected to my Facebook, and I had changed my Facebook password for security reasons. I changed my Spotify password to match, but when I got into my account, all of my music was gone, and my username had changed from what it had been to an extract from my email. I had no playlists and no recently played. I would have been as well creating a new account. It there anyway I can recover the music I had or will I have to start from scratch, and why did my username change?

Not to worry, your Spotify playlists haven’t disappeared - it sounds like you might’ve accidentally created a second account and signed into that one instead. I'd recommend checking out the FAQ page "Can I create multiple accounts?" here for more info.

If you’re definitely logged into the right account, but you’re still not seeing some playlists, I’d suggest reading this Spotify Answer for the correct steps.
