My Question or Issue

 

So, I created a new account via spotify family.

I started with creating a new playlist. Then I noticed that my username has changed and is now the same as my password. Help?

Welcome to the community!

First up, could you check to see if you have any other accounts? It's possible to create multiple Spotify accounts, each with their own login details, saved music, and subscription. 

 

If you're sure that you don't have any other accounts, you might have entered your password in the profile name field when creating your account. You can change your profile name by creating a new account with the profile name of your choice.

 

I'd also strongly recommend changing your Spotify password and changing the password for any service where you use the same password as Spotify
