Password assignment when setting up the e-mail login does not work

Password assignment when setting up the e-mail login does not work

I used to log in via Facebook, but I would like to do this via e-mail & password in the future. However, when setting up the e-mail login, an error occurs when assigning the password: "Something went wrong. Please try again."

All password requirements are met.

There are no error messages in the browser console and the API request returns a 401 with an empty response body

I am sorry to hear that. Can you try following these steps using a different browser or private window and let me know if that makes a difference?

I was having the same problem using Chrome browser. Switched to Microsoft Edge and it accepted the new password without error.
