Payment and playlists lost

Payment and playlists lost

Got a notification saying payment had failed and Spotify will close the account in 5 days (on the iOS app). Updates payment details to keep premium, now all my playlists are lost and not on the option to restore and my account in iOS app is showing as free...

Hey @Lukep144,

 

Try logging into your Spotify profile on your browser here with your email. Your username will be displayed after you login.

 

After that, check the status of your subscription. In there you'll be able to update your payment details. Then, if everything looks ok, logout of the app in your device, and be sure to use that username, instead of your email address, to login to your account. It's the one with your music.

Hey Luke,

   If ever you get your account back, you can get your lost playlists back. Just head to your account overview at spotify.com then you will be able to see a recover playlist tab where you can see your past deleted playlists. Just press recover and you're good to go! Hope you get your account back man!
