Playlist subscribe

Is there a point to subscribing to playlists? They don't show up anywhere - you can't access them from the menu. I subscribed to a friend's playlist but it doesn't allow me to see that playlist when Spotify is reopened. I still have to search for the playlist to find it again. Am I missing something?

When you subscribe to someones playlist, it should then appear on the left hand side with all your other playlists. Right at the bottom of the list. So you have nice, quick access to it. Is it not showing up at all?
