Premium User Without Facebook Account - Users Can't Find Me !!

I've been a spotify users for a few years now, but recently started sharing my playlist.  Also, I have a premium account.  It turns out that my friends cannot find me -- and after doing a bit of research I realize that this is because I did not create my account through facebook - and looks like there's a complicated process for people to find me.

I think it is shocking that you deliver limited functionalities to PAYING premium users. Am I getting this wrong?  Please let me know if I am.  But if I am now, I think it is a little counter-nature for a music "sharing" and "discovery" platform to limit visibility and access to paying users just because they did not connect through facebook.

It's not overly difficult, they just need to search for your username using:
spotify:user:your-username
