Premium service paid for, but spotiy shows "Upgrade", and im back to free account????

Premium service paid for, but spotiy shows "Upgrade", and im back to free account????

I have paid for the Premium Spotify for the past few years. But when I logged onto my account the other day the screen showed "Upgrade", in the corner and im back to the basic free Spotify again?? I've checked my receipts on the Bills and accounts section, and its showing that I'm fully paid up with no missed payments???? So I really dont know why im back to being a basic user again, when I've paid my money towards my subscription? The only thing I can think is that I've recently got a new phone (Sony Xperia S), and I've synced my accounts , including spotify with my phone.

 

Any ideas??! Also 3 day reply time from Spotify to the e-mail I sent them asking to take a look at it...bit long isnt it.

Hello! So you've all got quite different issues going on here. 

 

lee_shilling- I can see that your last payment for March didn't go through. Please check that you card still meets the following requirements: 

 

1. Your card must not have expired. If you have received a new card, please update your card details on your Subscription page: https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/

2. The country set in your Spotify account profile must match the country where your card is registered.

3. Your card should be enabled for e-commerce transactions 

4. Your card must be open to be used for foreign purchases.

5. There are some banks that require other security authentifications, the most common one being 3DSecure.

 

asongulol- You've made a duplicate account via Facebook and you're logging into that new, Free account.

 

Please log out and log back in with your 'otrinidad' username. Then head over to this thread for more info on sorting this out. 

 

firefreak & umr- I can see that both of your Premium upgrades have now gone through successfully.

 

Just log out and log back in (@firefreak with your username, @umr with your FB details).

Hello! I'm having the same problem. My family pays for the family plan and my receipts are correctly payed for. But yesterday I logged in and it said free, though it still says I'm part of the premium family account. I don't understand.
