Premium upgrade fail yet charged

I used my CashApp Virtual debit card to upgrade to spotify premium student discount. I was charged $4.99 three times but I still have a free account.

It's very likely just a pending charge if you haven't received a receipt from Spotify via Email: https://support.spotify.com/account_payment_help/managing_payments/pending-charges/

The money was definitely subtracted from my account. I was in the process of selecting my university for the student discount verification when things froze up. The whole freezing issue makes me fear that although the transaction went through, I will not receive the student premium verification

If you haven't received a receipt from Spotify via Email, then the transactions haven't completed and the charges are just pending charges.

 

Wait a few days and the charges should and will disappear by itself.
