Premium user, but still get ads.

Premium user, but still get ads.

Premium user, but I still get ads between almost evry songs, and can't choose song from tablet and Android phone. I have tried to re install at both device, and logged on with username and with facebook,. When i tried to upgrade its telll me that i already is a premimum user, from PC the premimum status is ok. What to do?

When you got in touch with support you will most likely have gotten an automated email reply pointing you to the community. If you could reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) an adviser will be able to lend a hand shortly.

I have found the solutions with spotify support. I have choosen the goggleiap as payment method, and this feature doesn't work as this moment. So I change the payment method to Visa and now the problem solved.

I have read all the other post, and I have tried everything thats suggested, but nothing changes. I have wrote to techical support, but they dosen't reply. 

 

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Please note it can take some time for a premium subscription to activate across all devices.

1) Have you checked your Subscriptions page to make sure you are successfully premium?
2) Try logging out/in and reinstalling Spotify.
3) Make sure you're logging in with the right account; it's very easy to have both facebook and Spotify details!

Thank you for taking time to answer, but you answear is unfortunately the same as in all the other post, and I have tried all of them before creating this post.
But I will wait a few days before doing anything further.
Its confusing that I have payed to upgrade to premium 2 month now, and suddently this proble accused.

@elskov666 -- if you post the 8-digit case # from the automatic response - something like #00123456 - we can chase that up for you. I can't find anything on our system for the email address attached to your Community profile.

Im having the same issue but my payment type was selected as visa. Can someone please poing me to the contact form so I can email Spotify support.

Is your account showing as premium on your online overview?

 

If it is showing as premium then you should be good to go! Sometimes a quick log out and back in again is needed. If you are still having issues, try a clean reinstallation of the application. 

 

If your account is still showing as free then you have not logged into the account you have upgraded. Double check your details, its amazingly easy to accidentally have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and another using your Facebook details. If you can't find your account, don't subscribe again as you might be billed twice, instead get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand.

 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I am having the same problem. I signed up to Premium hours ago and I am listening on web player and I am still getting regular ads. My status on my account page is Premium, and I have tried signing out and closing/reopening the page several times. 

Weird, what username is shown on your overview where it says you have Premium?

Who's your Spotify Star?

Hello, I am also having the same issue -- my account shows up as a Premium account, I am logged in using the Spotify Web Player. I am getting an ad before I can listen to a playlist. Here is a screen shot http://puu.sh/8ba9G.png

 

I can't use the normal Spotify program because I get occasional blue screens from using it -- the webplayer works just fine.

You have got an active Spotify Premium subscription.You subscription will automatically change to Spotify Unlimited on 2014-05-12 and you will be charged $4.99 unless you cancel recurrent payments.

That's strange. What happens if you log out then back in? If that doesn't help. please get in touch with spotify hereIf you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, please reply to it to speed things along.

Got spotify premium via vodafone. All was working well until today when I was asked to upgrade spotify which i did but now i'm getting ads. How do i fix this?
