Problem changing countries

So, I lived one year abroad (in the US) and now I'm back to my native country, in the case, Brazil. As I used to buy gift cards to use premium in the US, my account is set as an american one. But in Brazil, my family has a family Spotify account, and I can't get in cause my country set is the US.

 

The only way I have to change it is setting a new payment way, which would charge. And we are already paying for the Family thing.

 

So what am I supposed to do?

Considering what the support page is saying I guess you still have the US Premium going on. I think you either have to change your payment option, or wait until your Premium subscribtion is over and change the country then. You probably also have the option to cancel your subscribtion and change the country, or just pay the Family subscribtion through your account.

Once you use a giftcard, the account gets set to that country until the remaining days of your subscription are used up.

 

Once this happens, it's better to delete your payment info before changing countries.

What I'm suggesting you to do is this:

 

1. Go to your Subscription and payment overview --> http://spotify.com/account/subscription/

2. Click UPDATE DETAILS. If it shows below 'Would you like to cancel your subscription?' click there and cancel.

3. Check the box to 'Remove', and click 'Change' button,

 
Note: If you have your Premium active you won't be able to remove your payment info. That's why it's important to cancel before clicking UPDATE DETAILS.
 
After you've removed your payment info, change your country in profile, and resubscribe to Premium by accepting the Family invite.
