Problem logging into Spotify premium with my ipad

Hi,

 

I've used Spotify on my android device for a year or so and have Premium.  I recently bought an ipad and downloaded the Spotify app.  When I try and log on with my email account it states that I've already created an account with that email address.  If I change my password I can access my Spotify account but none of the music.  I've installed Facebook and tried accessing it with that but then get error 404.  Please help.

Hi,

Thank you. I was able to find a solution by searching similar requests for
help. Problem was solved by downloading the app via a link from the
Spotify website. Not sure why this would make any difference as it still
took me through to th App Store but it worked. I also used my user name
rather than my email and that seemed to do the trick to get me up and
streaming.

Hey @Mehmoodian,

 

If you are getting the error that you have already created an account with that email address, this means you are trying to sign up, if you already have an account you need to login.

 

Please make sure you are on the login screen.

Thanks for re Spending. I should have said I'm getting that message from
the log on button not the create an account button.
