Problem with login

Problem with login



I use to connect to Spotify through my facebook credentials.


I've changed my facebook password yesterday.


Trying to connect to Spotify now, they told me my password is incorrect, and turned me to offline mode. When I try to connect with my new facebook password, they tell me the password is incorrect.

When I try to connect with my old password, it works (Spotify opens to its main screen), but then again, they tell me my password is incorrect and I'm turned to offline mode.


How can I/you fix this?

It sounds like you may have a Spotify account that wasn't created via Facebook and was connected later, meaning changing your password just breaks the Facebook connection. If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they will be able to lend a hand to get you back to you account. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I've contacted them through the online form you suggested, and as you predicted, I've received this automatic email suggesting me to contact the community.


I've replied to it, but no one came back to me.


So I'm still stuck with it.

Update: I could fix it myself by changing my facebook parameters.
