Problem with signing up for a new account

My Question or Issue

I'm born in 2001 and when I downloaded the app and started singing up it said that I don't meet the required age then I check Google and it says that in Egypt I have to be 21 or older to use Spotify although when I tried signing up with Facebook it worked and on my account it says I'm born in 2001. Now I'm thinking about going premium but I don't wanna subscribe to an account linked to my Facebook so I really don't get the point of why I can't sign up for an account by my email yet I can sign in by Facebook.

The minimum age required in Egypt to create a Spotify account is indeed 21.

Users under 21 can still create an account if they're older than 13, but they'll need the consent of a parent or a guardian.

This is another way for you to create an account without having to use Facebook.

I'm sorry but I still don't get why an 18 years old need parents supervision to listen to music. And once again I've already created an account using my Facebook so is it allowed for 18 years old to sign up with Facebook yet banned from creating a new account using their emails?

Laws vary per country and there isn't really something we can do about this. In some countries rules surrounding the use of Spotify (or similar services) are stricter than in other countries.
