Profile Picture/Username Issues

My profile picture has stopped appearing consistently!

I can always see my picture in the top right corner when using the desktop app, but not when I click to view my profile. My friends cannot see my profile picture from their devices, which was not always the case. Lately, my username also does not always appear, sometimes only numbers. I sign in using Facebook and all my songs link to my page so I am under the impression that I am connected correctly. 

This all seemed to start when I began using the mobile app on my Android a few months ago. Could that have something to do with my current issues? Would really appreciate if someone could help!

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

You normally only see those numbers or a missing profile picture when your having issues getting that information from Facebook. Normally it will correct itself.

I have the same problem. I can see my Facebook name and my facebook profile picture in the right upper corner, but when i rightclick on it to see my profile my name is only numbers and i have no picture. My friends also can only see numbers and no picture.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

It sounds like Spotify hasn't been able to get that information from Facebook yet, for whatever reason. Hopefully it will fix itself. If you would like me to have a go at loading your profile, post a link here or PM it to me (link in my signature).
