my username now is 1252170063 and cant change it to a normal username. the number was sent to me by spotify. What should i do?

I want to state that my account was fixed today. My premium account is now there with an extra month to boot. Sorry for my rant.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
That is the username of your account, there is no way to change it unfortunately without making a new account.
If you want a new account, get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to help you through the steps needed to copy all of your content across.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Pft....good luck with that! I didn't realize that my account was linked with facebook. I closed my facebook account which was no big deal at first until I had to format harddrive. Then I ran into issue of not being able to log into my account. I paid for premium service with a free 3 month promo. Now I can't get any of it back it seems. I had to create a new account and all they did was copy over my playlists! Awesome!!!! No premium anymore! Man, really thinking about switching back to pandora and sirius/xm!

I was actually told today that nothing could/would be done to get my account subscription back. I was told to give the 1 month free trial a try! So, that helped me make up my mind to stay with the Sirius/XM and Pandora One subscriptions. Between the two I spend about $150/year for the past three years. Though it's never let me down, I like the customizable playlist through Spotify better, but customer service really has nothing to offer. I almost switched for good, but after today, I'm glad that I didn't. Thanks though!
