My friend gifted me a spotify premium redeem code and I keep trying to enter it in and it keeps telling me
"Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or check out our help area"
I would hate for my friend to spend money on this and it be worth nothing. Please!
A couple things I have already tried
1) cleared browsers of all cookies and caches.
2) tried all three of my browsers (Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome)
3) Entered code in at least a dozen times

@Ivanovich4 - Unfortunately we can't help out with gift/eCard issues here on the community. If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form, including your code in the email they will be able to investigate this a little further for you.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Just get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form including the code, order ID (if known), where you bought it and in what country and one of their advisers will be able to lend a hand to get it redeemed to your account.

Any progress into this matter?
Quite annoyingly no one seems to have an answer as to when the problem is going to be fixed.
It can tell that the code is legit, because if you put in some random code it says code invalid and not with a real one.
If you haven't contacted suport yet, you should do so, as outlined above. If you have contacted them, keep the email exchange going until the issue is sorted.
@Mariconio - Did you get in touch with support?
I have only ever known Spotify to not honour codes when they have been obtained in a way which is in breach of the ToS.
