Request of removal of add with offensive language

Hi,

I normally am not annoyed by cursing, making fun of dicks etc. 

However, the TED advertisement on Spotify is too much, even for me. 

It starts with "**uh-oh** YOU <some name>, YOU CAN SUCK MY DICK".

(really loud indeed)

I think this is highly inappropriate and really weird to allow, considering how some songs are heavily censored for every **uh-oh** word. 

Edit: haha, even this forum censors those words, while they are spoken out loud in the spotify add syste.! To make myself clear, the add says "F#CK YOU <some name>, YOU CAN SUCK MY DICK".

Edit: AHAHHA This is even more stupid! Even this forum censors those words, while you allow them to be spoken out loud in your add system!!! To make myself clear, the add says "F#CK YOU <some name>, YOU CAN SUCK MY DICK".

Hmm. Never heard it when I was on free.

I agree, heavily, that it needs to be removed ASAP!

Is there any way you can change the content of ads play on my account?  Many of them are sexual in nature which is not appropriate for work or desired in any context.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to filter the adverts which get shown/played on your account. Certain adverts are age restricted though, so you will only receive them if your age is over 18 in your Spotify profile (or Facebook account). 

If you would like the ability to choose which adverts are displayed on your account, then I would suggest you add your kudos and comments of support to this topic over on the Ideas Exchange. 

I promise this isn't a sales pitch, more of a reminder that the adverts will magically vanish if you purchase an unlimited or premium subscription 😉
