Resetting or deleting account

Hi all,

I have difficulties to find a way how to reset my account which means deleting all playlists, saved preferences and so on.

I would also want to change my username.

If you just can delete my account, I am happy with that. So I can set it up as needed.

please advise.

Hey there,

Spotify Support can delete your account. Just contact them through one of the channels:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Why don't you just open a new account with a different email?

Tip: use a different email address from the one you use for facebook (past or present).

That will give you a Spotify username of your choice, and you won't have to rely on facebook at all.
