Right picture but wrong name!

Hi!

I have the same problem as many other people seem to have aswell where my Spotify suddenly have changed my name (Madeleine Andersson) Spotify account name as "Andeeersson" and profile picture and are now using my moms name and picture. I have been disconnecting it from facebook a couple of times without any sucess. It's still her name and picture if you cklick the profile button in the app but in the upper right corner MY picture is shown BUT with my MOMS name next to it?

Dafudge is gooing on? Its so frustrating and annoying! And how can i prevent it from happening again?

Please note it can take up to 24h for the naem and picture to change properly after connecting to another facebook profile.

Have you tried a quick Clean reinstallation of Spotify as well? Does it work in the web player?

If it still doesn't work properly. I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify check what's going on.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.
