Says I'm free but charged 9.99 and can't even access a payment page

Says I'm free but charged 9.99 and can't even access a payment page

Can someone help? Just noticed I'm being charged 9.99 a month as per my credit card bill since oct 2016 but never signed up! It says I'm Spotify free so there's no way to even check my account or where my cc info would even be?! I just want to cancel and am freaked out I'm even being charged when it says I'm free and there's basically no info behind my email and bday.

That's quite odd, it seems as though you may have Auto-subscriptions on for new apps. If on an IPhone go to ITunes & App Store > Click on your Apple ID > After entering a password, or other security question, click 'View Apple ID' and from there it will take you to the App Store > Then click Subscriptions, and have a look in there to see if you can cancel/turn off Auto Renewal.

Restoring Purchases can sometimes also work in reverse, due to the fact that you haven't bought a premium membership, but Spotify says you has. Just in case, you could change your password because someone may have got into your account then set up a premium account with charges. If none of this works, email Spotify's Support - they should be able to fix it for you

I am having the same problem and just go round in circles trying to cancel. How frustrating it is not to have a help line where we can actually talk to a human. I loved my free trial then it just stopped even though payment has been taken from my account.

Pretty sure if payment was taken at the end of your free trial, then Auto Renewal is on. Try having a look at it, if you've turned it off then you'll have to wait out this payment and then hopefully next time it won't charge you without asking

Thank you! Got to "iTunes and App Store" in settings but can't then find auto renew or a subscription area

Click on ITunes & App Store then Click on the blue writing that says 'APPLE ID:(your email here)' then go into View Apple ID Then click on subscriptions and have a look around there. If this helped make sure to click the 'Accept as solution' Button so others can see this and solve their issues with Spotify Premium

Just scrolling to the bottom of the page, and under 'Useful Links' there should be 'Contact Spotify' Click on that and find the thing that will help you the most; A contact form seems to be the thing you needed the most
