Setting a birth year

Hello,

some time ago I created my Spotify account through facebook. Today I went to settings in my spotify account and saw that, my birth year is wrong (it shows 1994, not 2002). On facebook my birth year is correct (day, month and year). What should I do? Because I can't just change the year in settings.

PS: Will be here some option to change my username? Because it automatically generated my current username without opportunity to change it. It’s very long, with random numbers and letters and I want something more original. I read forums and found that, this is not possible at the moment, but I want to know if it will be possible in some time... thanks.

Unfortunately, you aren't able to change the date year by yourself. If you need the year to be changed, I'd recommend contacting Spotify support.

In terms of usernames, I have no information of when this will be available again. You can learn more about changing usernames here.
