Setup device password / Imposta password del dispositivo

Hi,

I try to setup device password, sendemail, and I get the following:

Spiacenti, ma il tuo indirizzo e-mail non era disponibile. Disconnettiti, riaccedi e riprova. Se il problema persiste, contatta l'assistenza.

The email is not avaible? What.

I want just to connect my Logiteck Media Server to Spotify!

I'm using FB login, may is this the problem?

Because on FB on Setting-> Security ->app password dosent works.

I spend to many time on this **bleep** problem

Any ideas?

Hey @stefanoklett,

Follow this to get a device password:

1. Go to Facebook settings.
2. Select Security and Login.
3. Select Use two-factor authentication.
4. Select App Passwords. 
5. Click Generate. 
6. Click Generate App Passwords.
7. If needed, enter your current Facebook password and click Submit.
8. Enter Spotify, and Facebook will automatically generate a password for you.

You can use it, with your Facebook email address as username, to log into Spotify directly on any device.

Hi, thanks

I already try this, but facebook won't allow be to "Add Password".
I click and nothing happens.
How can I disconnect my premium account from facebook or there is any other solution?

Since you created your Spotify account with Facebook, you need to create a new account with a different email address from the one you use for Facebook. That will give you a Spotify username, so you won't have to rely on a Facebook account. Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges, library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account. 🙂

No, I can't use it with an other email, this is my main email address.

I do generated the FB password from android app, this is wornking well!
