My Question or Issue

 

I moved from Canada to the UK and I'm trying to change the payment method to a credit card issued in the UK. However, it won't let me save it and it says the country the CC is issued is different from what my profile's country is.

 

So I try to click on the "change country" link on Update Payment page. When I select United Kingdom, it redirects me to the premium plan page with a small error message saying I can't do it. 

 

My Shopify account is created with my FB account and I've updated the FB profile to the UK as well.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

In this case, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end. Once it has ended, you can change your country setting through the dropdown menu here.

 

Once that's done, you can subscribe to your desired plan using your payment method that's been issued in the country you're currently in at https://spotify.com/premium.

 

Instructions on how to cancel and how that affects your account can be found at https://support.spotify.com/article/cancel-premium/.
