Simultaneous playback on multiple devices

Is there a way for me to listen to one playlist and then my wife listen to 

1. the same playlist

2. another playlist

at the same time?  One on iphone 8 and the other on samsung galaxy 8.  we have a premium account. 

Doi we need to download one of the playlists or both of them to enable this so we are either streaming no music or just to the one device at a  time?

Hope you're doing great!

Currently you can only stream from one device and other devices you've signed in will show the song you're currently streaming on the active device.

If you'd like to stream on several devices simultaneously you can check Premium for Family, where each member gets his own account. You can learn more here.

Also, you can download the songs on another device, in this case your wife's phone, and she'll be able to play those songs without interrupting you.
