Someone changed my Email Address

Today I got an email saying:


We wanted to let you know that the email address on your Spotify account has changed recently.
Your previous email address was: My email
It's now:

If you meant to do that, then no worries. It's business as usual for you.

If this wasn't you, email us at to let us know. We'll look into what's happened.


Whoever took my account changed the password so I couldn't even send in a support ticket without creating a new account. There's no way spotify should allow there to be an email change without a confirmation to the original email, and they don't have any fast way of getting my account back. With the rate at which customer support responds it's going to take me like a week to get my account back. Is there any way to get my account back soon? Thanks
