Someone else is using my Spotify account

Hi there,

I've used my Spotify on a few laptops that haven't been my own, but have always signed out (to my knowledge). Lately, I've had my sessions paused due to signing in elsewhere, and have noticed random starred tracks in my account. I've just changed my password, but is there anything you can do to help?

Have you changed your password? I would suggest you try that first and see if the problem stops. 

You might also want to have a quick read of this FAQ.

If not, post back here and I will see if I can get someone to look into this for you 😉

I got the same problem. I changed my password now and disconnected all devices because someone posted Songs from Spotify to my facebook account.

Could you check it ? Thanks.

I don't work for Spotify so I can't, I'm just a community user like you 🙂 

If you get an error message saying someone else is using your account then just post back here and I will see if I can get a staff member to look into it for you 😉

No that´s not the problem. I got no error mssgs or sth like this. I just have seen on Facebook that someone posted from Spotify songs into my Facebook account.

Hello, I think somebody has been using my account. I have changed my password but they still seem to have access because songs that I haven't listened to have shown up on my Facebook. Could I get this fixed please. Thanks

Alex90 & jameseybiscuit - Sounds quite odd! I've just checked and your Facebooks appear to be linked the correct accounts. 

I've also made sure no one's logged into your accounts. Let us know if you have any more trouble.

If this would get implemented, you could disconnect the sessions on your own through a self service portal.

federicociner - I've logged everyone out of your account. I'd change both your Spotify and your Facebook passwords to be extra safe.

My phone was stolen ad somebody has been using my Spotify; A: can I get them logged out so i can change the password, and B: is there a way to track an iPhone with this information?
