Someone using my account to promote their own music! How do I ban this shitface?

Just like the topic says, someone is using my account to promote their own music.

When I try to listen to my own playlists it just stops and starts playing an artist called "frulnalheo". They don't even listen to it on their device they just make my device play their new album.

As an artist myself (with way less plays than this fool) this makes me so angry cus someone is actually getting money, followers and fame by probably using a lot of other accounts.

This is why I haven't changed the password or anything yet. I wanna do whatever I can to make sure that the artists music in some way gets removed or at least recieve a warning or something.

At the moment I keep switching to songs named "I will find you", "**bleep** Off" and other weird stuff. Is there anything else I can do? Like finding the IP-adress and doing something with it, or report the artist that whoever is using my spotify is playing.

Help me do something as a revenge please! 😄

Let's try and solve the issue together.

First of all i have to understand if you mean they use the same name or are they logged in and having changes made on your account?

- Incase you assume someone is logged in to your account for their personal use it's a security matter and sugggest changing your password just for safty through here.

- Another step is i'd reach this support page (someone has taken over my account) and follow the steps.

They are probably logged in on my account, switching songs to one specific artist. (and I know that I can log out everywhere and change password and everything but I have chosen not to cus I want to do something about it)

The thing is, whoever is using my account only uses it to listen to the same artist over and over and I want to do something about it, if possible, because it makes me mad that you can promote your own music by hacking accounts.

Incase you already know the steps on how to stop this issue, i'd recommend you hit the buttom page of the second link i sent you ("Then, get in touch for us") and follow the steps to let Spotify know of this bug or hack.

Let them know as fast as you can so we can prevent from this things to happend again.
