My Question or Issue
So I had a regular Spotify account that was originally just linked to my email and I recently got Facebook and wanted to link them up so I followed the instructions on here to link it up using my phone. Facebook said it was connected and it was fine. So I logged out of desktop on my pc and logged back in using facebook and it worked so its fine. Now's where my problem starts. I decide to click FIND FRIENDS and it then wants me to connect to Facebook again even though I logged into the account just then with my Facebook. That's fine so I log in again using my Facebook and once it loads it comes up with the error SORRY COULDN'T LOAD FRIENDS TO FOLLOW. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the accounts logging in and out and I've got the settings on to show my friends on the list but nothing.
So can anyone help?

Hi @ethieona02,
thanks for reaching out about this !
Let's try a small step together:
- Visit your account overview page at Spotify.com
- Scroll and find the "Privacy" tab on your left menu
- Turn on the "Process My Facebook Data"
- If it's already on, turn it off and back on
Let me know how it goes 🙂

Thanks for assisting,
Yeah it wasn't turned on before, so I turned it on logged out then back in of the desktop app and still unforturnately it didn't work.
Anything else we can do?
Hi @ethieona02,
thanks for trying me steps !
I'd recommend giving the changes some time to adjust (24-48hrs).
In the meanwhile, you can read more about following friends and artists on this help page for further info.
Keep me posted 🙂
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was updated but I uninstalled and reinstalled and nope still coming up with the error for me. Just going to wait for a bit like the other person suggested then I'll see if there's anything else I can do.
Thanks anyway.
