Spam from facebook

I have recently registered with Spotify without using a facebook account. The email address I use for registering is unique to Spotify. Now I get spam from facebook sent to this unique e-mail address.

Does Spotify give my email address to facebook?

I would be very interested to see examples. Could you:

• Screenshot part or all of the email you got
• copy/paste the full header information
  (Most important info is the from: email address and the subject line)
• Send me a Private Message and send me the above

Clicking 'Private Message' yields:

An Unexpected Error has occurred.

That's odd. Can you click my name and find the text that says "send this user a private message" ? It's on the right and not very noticable.
