Spotify Account Help

Hello.  I have a Spotify account and after it logged me in, a window appeared asking if I wanted to link Spotify to my Facebook account, to display on Facebook what I have been listening to.  To get this message to go away, I typically link the account.  Well, I forgot that I had linked this account to a Facebook account I no longer use.  I have since removed the application from that Facebook page.  When I sign in on the Spotify player I installed, the username I have appears fine on the log in screen, but after I sign in, it will show the display name for the Facebook page I linked it to earlier.  When I try and sign in with the username on the Spotify web site, it will not sign me in. I just want to be able to sign in with this username again and have it working normally again.  Help please.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

If you go to Edit>Preferences can you disconnect from there?

If you can't, I suggest you submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can look into it for you.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

I can log in on Spotify with my username and password, but I am still receiving the username and password is incorrect message.  This is an Error code: 410 message I get.  I also had a Last.fm account linked to it.  I went to Edit and Preferences and I do not see the Facebook account linked.  I removed the Spotify plug-in from that Facebook account.  When logged in to Spotify on the computer program, I am still able to pull up my playlists.  It also reads that the feed is not available offline.  The application thinks I am offline when I am not.  I signed in to the Spotify computer program with a different username and it works fine.

@crkkuczek - Error 410 can be a tricky error to diagnose since it can be caused by a range of things. I would suggest you get in touch with the Spotify support team directly using the online contact form and they can lend a hand to investigate what is going on here.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
