Spotify Family not working as I expected

Spotify Family not working as I expected

I (supposedly) upgraded to Spotify Family so that my family could access Spotify and their playlists individually at the same time and avoid the common situation where Spotify would only allow music to be played on one device.  However, this is still a problem and Spotify Family doesn;t appear to have made any difference whatsoever (apart from the extra €5 per month).  Has anyone else had this issue?

If you upgraded your already existing account to a Family Account, the upgrade will be executed on the day your Premium Account expires (depending on your subscription date). Hope this will help! 

Thanks but Spotify have already started charging me €14.99 since June. I'm considering moving back down unless I see (understand) the benefits as each member of the family can still not listen to their respective music at the same time.

Okay, then I would advise you to contatct Spotify Support. https://support.spotify.com/us/contact-spotify-support/

 

If you receive an automessage, still reply to that mail (even if it is a no-reply mailing address). Soon, customer agents will contact you (1-2 days).
