Spotify Premium - keeps asking to update my payment details

Spotify Premium - keeps asking to update my payment details

I've had Premium for a while and have been paying monthly in AUD. After recently moving to the US, I cancelled my Australian card so my monthly Spotify payment didn't go through. Spotify prompted me about this payment failure so I updated my payment details by choosing to pay upfront for 1 year in USD. After having made the payment, my Spotify account still says my payment details need to be updated and I will be losing my premium subscription if otherwise! What have I done wrong - am I still missing a payment or is there some problem with switching locations?

Hi @jungk319 welcome to the Spotify Community! 

 

Would you be able to dig out the US Spotify Premium receipt from your email or texts? If you could find that and check that you're logging into Spotify with the username on the receipt that would be great as a duplicate account may have been created.

 

Also, it's worth just logging out of the account and back in, which should trigger the app to refresh.

 

If you're still looking for answers then I would suggest reaching out to Spotify Care through this anonymous contact form, it'll not need any user ID.
