Spotify Set in Right Country but Cannot Log in

Spotify Set in Right Country but Cannot Log in

All of a sudden Spotify logged me out and when I try logging in it says "You can only use Spotify aboard for 14 days. Update your location at Spotify.com to continue using it." When I went to the website, I could not change my location to a different area than the one I am in.

Just to double-check, which country are you in right now, and what country is your Spotify account set to? 

You can check this at https://spotify.com/account.

I'm in Japan and my Spotify acc is set in Japan.

Could you please perform a clean reinstall of your Spotify app(s)? After you've done that, please try logging in.

 

If it still won't work, I'd recommend attempt changing the country setting through an incognito window as described here one more time.
