Spotify and Facebook connectivity

So at the end of last year I deleted my facebook account.

My spotify account, which was connected to this facebook account, remained in tacked however was no longer connected to that account.

This year when I made a fresh facebook account, my spotify is having trouble connecting with facebook.

Although it says I'm already connected to facebook when I click on 'find friends' friends from facebook will not show up.

Can anyone help?? 🙂
