My Question or Issue

I tried uninstalling, removing all the Spotify related files from my PC and reïnstalling it. I even restarted the PC while it was uninstalled. Same problem.
It works on my browser and my phone and tablet and when I play a song via those the Windows app shows that it's playing the song on another device. I can even change the songs on the app and it plays that song on the other devices but as soon as I close the apps and web page, it shows that error again.
Do I need to redirect something? I don't know anymore.

Welcome to the Community, we'll be happy to help you solve this!

First, we'd recommend making sure that you've installed the app from the Microsoft store, instead from our web site.

If that doesn't make any difference, could you check if all your Windows drivers are up to date and restart your PC after updating them?
