I signed up for the free trial of Spotify a few months ago. I figured it was as advertised - a thirty day trial. Today I discover that Spotify has, in fact, been charging me for the service over the past few months, and this last payment overdrew me so now my bank is asking me to pay them $35 for a payment I had no knowledge of. I have barely even used spotify since a week into the free trial. I want to cancel my subscription and have my last payment refunded, but since Spotify has the worst customer support out there, I can't speak to someone, or chat with an online rep. I have to go through the "Contact Form", which, after doing a bit of research, seems like a pretty broken service, with most people waiting a hell of a long time to hear back from your so-called "customer support". This especially pisses me off because I CAN'T EVEN CHECK THE STATUS OF MY TICKET.
I was charged (unknowingly) for a service I don't even use. I don't even want all my money back, I just want you to refund my last payment so I can extricate myself from this mess of a service you call Spotify and not have to pay my bank $35.

My family created an account for them to use, and I am being charged monthly for it....however somehow we got logged out on our phones, and I don't remember what e-mail address we used to create the account now. It's been a long time since we logged in, because it was just always automatically logged in for us. I want to keep the service I just want help in figuring out what e-mail address we used to create the account. Is there someone I could talk to so I could give them the card info I use to pay for it, and maybe someone could find my account info for me? I have no way to log into my account or even cancel that account and make a new one without my log in info.
What should I do?

Having an issue and can no longer access Spotify. I have the free version of Spotify with adverts. When I attempt to load Spotify, I receive an error stating that my country does not match the one set in my profile and tells me to update my profile. My profile Country is "USA" and I am in the USA. It states in the help section under How Can I Change My Country Settings "If the country currently set in your account matches your current IP address then this option will be greyed out" The country listed in my profile is greyed out so why can I no longer gain access and use Spotify?

Also, try re-installing the app, sometimes it can get a little confused!

I submitted a ticket recently 01517667 and I got an automated no reply email which did not help me at all. I have spotify free, I did not sign up for the free trial of spotify premium. I was charged 4 times on 5/12/14 at $10 each. I want my money back.
Please reply to that autoresponse and you should hear back within 48 hours. If you don't hear anything, please post again.
@joemohr70 - You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form if you haven't already done so and they will be able to assist you further with this.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

i am new to spotify.i have just taken a one month sub to premium and have tried to download music to my iphone.whenever i go to spotify i am assaulted by a load registrations which are for google and facebook.wheni actually get into spotify i find its all photographs.i am totally perplexed by tour bad website and shall not be extending my sub to premium.
i signed up for premium and someone hacked my account and changed my email address.
This team cant even get a real person to reach me through email and cancel my subscription.
Spotify you gotta improve your customer service, its been a very disappointed experience out there.
I have tried to unsubscribe as I have never used this thing excpet for day one. I did not exert much effort as it was only $10. However, last month I tried and could not figure out what to do. Then I tried today and could not figure it out. A proffessional company would have a nuber to get help. I called the number for my debit card transaction and it gave me some alternatives; none of which worked. All in all it was a situation where you might thint it is a scam. I finally found the place and unsubscribed. During that process I was asked several times if I really wanted to unsubscribe, and did I want to upgrade; and I think I am already a premium user, so what was I going to upgrade too. Then it confirmed the unsubscription, and they went away. I wanted at least my latest payment refunded ( it was taken out today), and if they were a real business, they might see fit to refund some others. Since you can't contact anyone, you can't make requests.
The message I got said fill out the form; I still don't know where that is. Tell your friends to steer clear. If somebody with any authority reads this, you know my email, you are welcome contact me.

Worst customer support of any company on the planet, The DMV and the US post office put them to shame. The next generation of this model will wipe them off the planet. Terrible service and biz model. Software sucks. Dainiel Elk shoud be fired immedietly for **bleep** product. Wake up Daniel. Even your board realizes you are incompentent.
