Spotify does not show my profile picture

Hi there,

i've successfully linked my Facebook account to Spotify. I can see my profile picture on my profile page on web but cant see it in client,
and one of my friends confirmed that my profile pic can't be seen at Spotify.

I've tried reconnecting my facebook acc to spotify but this didnt help. what else do i need to do about this problem?

Hello, @oguzkocaer! Just give it a day or two and your profile picture in the desktop client should get automatically updated!

Oh, I thought you just merged the accounts now. I suggest to make a clean reinstallation. It sometimes helps.  You will need to delete cache to do that .

The default folders where the cache is stored on Windows are:

C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Spotify

C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\Spotify

Simply uninstall Spotify, clear your cache and install the desktop client again.

The AppData folder is by default a hidden folder, so you might want to change your settings to allow you to see it in Windows Explorer.

@oguzkocaer - I can confirm your profile picture and your real name are being displayed for me on your public profile in my Spotify client. Looks like a data caching issue going on somewhere, it should fix itself for you!

I can also confirm that it displays correctly for me now as well. It should fix itself then as @Peter__ suggested.

@trkygn - Are you connected to Facebook in Edit > Preferences > Social Network > Connect to Facebook?

@trkygn - Looks like a server caching issue, I would give it 24 hours and see if it fixes itself before we troubleshoot any further.

Are you having issues getting your account linked to Facebook? 

Have you connected it via Edit/Spotify > Preferences > Social Network?

I have the same problem. It shows in the web player but not in desktop. I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache and everything 😕

What is your Spotify username @Nokiababe ? 

If it is "nokiababe" your account is not showing as connected to Facebook for me.
