Hey @marceoli14,

Unfortunately, Spotify is currently not available in China so there's not much you can do except wait until it's available in your country.

Make sure to enter your email address on https://spotify.com/why-not-available to be one of the first to know when Spotify is available in your country.

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm confused as I used the 7 day free trial in China without any issues. In fact it worked much better here than it has in other countries. Based on the trial I went sign up for premium at which stage I hit the 'Spotify doesn't work in your country' page. Based on the trial it clearly does. Any clarification appreciated.

Hey @Tom136,

You've probably been using a VPN on your phone. Is that the case?

I should have mentioned that in the initial post. I haven't been using a VPN for Spotify at all.

@Tom136,

Your account's country setting was most likely set to a country where Spotify is currently available (eg. Mexico). Free subscribers can use Spotify in a different country for up to 14 days, due to licensing reasons.

Since it's been over 14 days, you're no longer able to use Spotify because it hasn't launched in china yet. 🙂
