Spotify keeps charging me twice

 

iI am getting quite sick of your guys service charging me twice and you won't fix the god darn problem, there is no such thing as stupid 6 digit BAC code, I went to my bank and they said there was no such number. I've been charged ONCE AGAIN this month and I left spotify support a really nasty message because I am very PISSED off. I have CANCELLED my account and if I see another charge on my bank card next month I'm filing a lawsuit against you. I know nobody has my card nor do I have friends who even use spotify, so it is on THEIR part not mine. I'm getting sick of spotify randomly coming out after I've already paid for it on the 1st or 2nd of the month, I've had MUTIPLE occasions where I've been overdrafted and had to pay $38.50 plus the  $9.99 because YOU charged me twice.

 

I do enjoy spotifty but if it requires paying for it twice a month, scew that.

It looks like you may have two active accounts and only the accounts team can sort this. If you get in touch here, they will look into it for you. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community or to the help pages, please reply to it to speed things along.

I've already gotten in contact with them and they told me that I needed to get a BAC or an approval code that has six digits i contacted my bank and they had no idea what i was talking about so I'm basically  screwed

You need to keep talking to spotify via email. This is not an official support channel and only the support team can help.

Oh you mean that support that never replies? dude I've been waiting for a reply from them for a month now, thus why I posted it here.

I'm having the same problem and I contacted support today.

 

If I don't hear anything back I'm going to have to try getting my bank to cancel them as fraud charges.


It is really disconcerting. I hope they can help me out because I have used Spotify premium for over 3 years.

 

 

dont bother they wont respond ive tried for months and they keep double charging my account as well so **bleep** you spotify i hope you enjoy the money you stole from my families mouth

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

 

If you don't get a reply, post back here and I'll forward the info to support so they can reply.

Do you have a case number (8 digit number) from the emails you sent to support?

case number? i get nothing just like everyone else.I'll let my bank,Visa
and the BBB handle it

Thx they did get back to me, now I am following the process .. Also here is something to consider: Bank Answer Authorization Codes are not very common in USA and a lot of banks delete them after 7 days.

This case looks to only have one reply from us and is from back in November, when we didn't hear back. Have you created a new case since? Not to worry if not, if you could get back to that email case with any BAC/TAC details that you have received, i'll take a look into things for you.

I finally got all the info from my bank over to support .. I am hoping they can take care of this for me.


I have been using since 2011 and have been a faithful follower and promoter!! (your product is awesome)

 

 I do hope you guys understand that it required quite a few calls and emails with the bank to get the info I needed.

Hi Matt,

 

Spotify responded to my message and said they were going to call me yesterday AM to get my full CC# (even though I got them the authorization codes they had asked for .. they didn't call me I sent an email ... and no response.


I am quite frustrated now. If you guys cannot get this taken care of by Monday, I will have no other choice but to dispute all of the Spotify charges on that card with my bank, which is a costly hassle for both of us.

 

Step up to plate and help a loyal customer out of this mess.
