Spotify not Connecting to Facebook

my spotify account will not connect to facebook no matter what i do. when i originally got spotify i did not have a facebook, but now that i do i really would like to connect to it. i've tried on my laptop and phone and it doesn't work on either. it just says login and i enter my account information and then it goes back to the original screen acting like it had connected, but not actually connecting. please help.

Have you tried to unistall and reinstall sporify again? It may resolve this problem. Also go on Facebook and delete your authorization you gave for spotify. You can find it in your account settings, under the tab named "apps"

yes i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it on both my laptop and phone. i will try that, thank you
