My Question or Issue

I am not able to change my email address for my Spotify account. I followed the steps of how to change it but it shows that this email is already taken, although I have no Spotify account with that email. pls, help I want to change the email address of my Spotify account.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Could you try resetting the password with the email address you want to use and then try to log in with it? This'll show, if there is indeed an account with this email address, because if there was an account with this email address and it got closed, the email address won't be available for another 30 days for a new account.

If you find an account with this email address, get in touch with a customer support consultant through one of the channels here, so they can remove the email address from the account.
