Spotify shows weird letters instead of my Facebook user name

My Question or Issue

Both Spotify desktop and android app now shows some kinds of weird letters instead of my Facebook name. It used to work fine before and this just happened for over a week. I already tried relogging, reinstalled on both platform but nothing works.

PS: I created my Spotify account using my Facebook account.

Hey @kuroppi!

Sounds like you might have opted out of sharing your data with Facebook. You can check this on your account page here.
You should also make sure that on Facebook's end here, Spotify has to be allowed to have access to personal data.

I opted in back with sharing your data with Facebook, also checked on facebook end with Spotify "Data access: Active", it's still like that. Is there anything extra i need to do or i have to wait for a couple of days for Spotify to process my data back?

Hello there!

If you did that process properly, it should be alright now. It just takes a bit of time for the system to update everything. This process can take up to 2 weeks.
