Starbucks Partner Trying to Transfer Existing Subscription

Hey folks,

I have been a long time member of the Spotify community. When I heard that Starbucks was going to begin providing partners a free subscription, I was pumped to say the least. My current concern is that I have an existing 12 month subscription that won't expire until January. My original hope was to transfer the existing subscription over to my wife, who uses my premium subscription on her phone when I'm not using it. I don't see anything online about transering a membership and I was wondering if this is at all possible or am I instead going to have to wait til January and then create my Partner Account?

Subscriptions are non-transferable between accounts. You could just let your wife use the prepaid 12 months permium account until it runs out in January, and then go ahead and set up the Starbucks partner account on the side to take advanatge of what the promotion is with Starbucks and Spotify? Unless I have missed anything here in what you posted?
