Stream from multiple devices on family plan?

I just upgraded to the Family plan, but my wife and I still can't stream on the same account from separate devices, which was the whole reason I upgraded. Do I have to create a separate account now? I'd really prefer not to.

I have the same concern, as I'm considering doing the family plan upgrade, and I just can't find the answer on the website or in this community.  Did you try support@spotify.com?  I've seen that email referenced elsewhere.

I don't really want separate accounts, I just don't want my music at work to stop when my wife or nanny turns on the Sonos.   

 

I'd happily pay $5/month extra just to address that issue.

This happens for me too. When I am at work and my partner is home he can’t play his device without kicking me off line.
