Student Discount Ended

I'm aware that the student discount is only for a year and I would need to cancel and subscribe again if I wanted to continue receiving my discount but I was unaware it was time for me to do so because I was not emailed and reminded like I was supposed to be. Is there a way to get refunded my $9.99 for this month? Because I really don't want to pay $9.99 for this service.

I have this same problem too as I never received any student verification and have been charged $9.99/month for the past few months. The page you linked above does not address this refund issue.  Please advise.
