Student Discount Error

I have been trying to get the student discount. I give my credit information and then give my name as well as the institution i do, but all that happens is $4.99 gets put in pending on my account, and a message that says that i'm unable to be found. I simply would want the student discount, and the way it's seems to go about verification seems to superficial. Maybe a student email or student identification number to prove instead of a name and the name of the institution
