I can't find / follow the account of one of my family members?

I can't find / follow the account of one of my family members?

Possible relevant info: I've been a premium user for several months and recently upgraded to the Family Plan because of the holiday special.

I have the user name and email address of one of the people using my family plan, but I cannot find their account when I search for it.

They're not connected through Facebook, but trying to search their user name, email address, and actual name has turned up ziltch.

When I check my account settings, it says that they're active, so I don't understand why I can't find them.

Help, please? What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem.

I upgraded to family account yesterday.

all 5 accound had been created and i can see them in master account management.

when I search for them, i cannot see them.

Can you help please?

Our problem was that the family member hadn't activated their account yet.
They had to log in and accept the upgrade. Until then, the system was just
holding a spot for them.

I have the same problem, i can't find one of my family member ...

My issue was that the missing family member wasn't logged all the way into the app on their phone. Maybe it's the same sort of thing?

I will check...

I'm having the same problem.  My wife is able to log onto her mac desktop as well as her iPhone, but when I search for her, there is no known person.  She can "follow" me but I can't follow her so we can't share playlists.

Has she tried logging all the way out and all the way back in? That was the
problem we had; the person I was trying to find was only partially logged
in. (Like listening through a Web browser rather than the actual app)

Thanks we both logged off and on our web browsers and our apps. She is able to follow me, but I am not able to follow her. Thanks.

I'm sorry if any of this is redunant, but I'm just trying to help. (I also don't work for Spotify, so please don't yell at me.) 

When I set my family member up, I had to login to Spotify on a web browser and went to https://www.spotify.com/us/family/overview/ . From there, I typed in the email address for my family member and sent them the link to login. That was the issue; until they went through all of the verification steps, they weren't logged in as my "family." The verification is what attached our accounts.
