Student verification alternative

Hello:

I never give my actual birth date to anyone online, as it is a critical piece of data used in Identity Theft, and no online institution is hack-proof.  Therefore, having provided an alternate birth date, and then having provided my credit card information, I was a tad undone to discover that you require my birth date to verify my status as a student.  (I am.  A student.)  Every student at my University has a unique email identifier, so that will suffice.

Can you provide me with a way to sign up for the premium student discount without requiring my actual birth date?

If not, sadly I will have to pass.  Protecting my Identity data is important to me.

I hope we get to win-win.
